Cures For Heartburn – How I Cured My Heartburn For Good

February 13th, 2010

Hello it’s Anthony Robins here. If you’re looking for the best cures for heartburn you’ve certainly arrived at the right website.

I strongly suggest you keep reading becuase this is my complete uncensored story on how I cured my heartburn problem for good and I want to share it with you – I know how annoying and painful it can be.

Click Here to see how I permanently shifted my heartburn.

I’m going to share with you the ups and downs I faced as I tried to find a long-term cure for heartburn and what worked, what didn’t and finally, the long-term solution to my problem (and hopefully yours).

It all started a few years ago. To begin with the symptoms would start after eating a meal. Not every meal, but most of them. It was the most uncomfortable feeling in the world and it kept me awake for hours. It got worse when I lay down, as well. I didn’t realise at this point that is was possible acid reflux.

A few months later, I started getting heartburn symptoms throughout the day even if I hadnt eaten. It was horrible. I mean, it would literally ruin my day. When we went out for family meals I felt left out becuase I couldn’t eat a large meal and often had to leave food on the plate in fear that it would ruin my evening.

I tried a lot of things to ease the symptoms of heartburn. I started eating less, I started going for walks after meal times and I also cut out acidic fruit juices and spicy food, to list but a few – to no avail.

Time went by and the symptoms persisted. The discomfort I was experiencing would last upwards of an hour (sometimes more) and it was really starting to drag me down.

This heartburn was beginining to hold me back. I couldn’t enjoy a family outing without being in extreme discomfort, I couldn’t eat meals out anymore, full stop. Expercise? No chance. Exercising fueled my problem and made the symptoms worse.

So after a long time trying to ignore it, I started to take action. I started looking online for natural cures for heartburn and tried out a few methods. A lot of the heartburn remedies I found helped. A lot of them didn’t. The cooling effect of yoghurt helped a lot. I started drinking ginger tea too, which seemed to help a great deal.

In time I did start to see some short-term success with the natural heartburn cures that I found, which was great. But the downside was that these things only clouded the discomfort for a short period of time and the symptoms would just return. I simply couldn’t find a long-term heartburn cure.

I then went to my local health shop and explained my situation to the rather helpful staff there. The shop assistant who served me was a past heartburn sufferer and what she told me next changed my life forever.

She told me about a permanent acid reflux cure that she’d personally used to shift her annoying symptoms forever. Of course, I didn’t fully believe her as I thought she was trying to sell me the most expensive product in the shop. In fact, I didn’t have to buy anything that day. I simply went home, visited the website she wrote down for me and spent the best $47 of my life (seriously). When I started to use the proven method my heartburn disappeared forever after just two days using it, as was promised!

Yes, I  am changed man. I simply can’t believe how lucky I am to have found a long-term cure after all this time suffering. I now go out often with my friends and family and yes, I can eat a full meal and play bowling afterwards without even a sniffle of heartburn. The world is my oyster now I’ve taken control of my life again.

>>>Here’s The Method<<<

There’s the method that the shop assistant told me about in the health shop that day. It’s changed my life and I KNOW it will change yours if you are a heartburn sufferer.

If you’ve been looking for a long-term cure you needn’t look any futher than here.

The Causes of Heartburn – Are You Aware of These?

February 7th, 2010

Ok , let’s talk about the causes of heartburn and acid reflux. There are a number of different things that can add to the root cause and I’ll go over them one by one in a second. These are the things I’ve changed in my lifestyle that have helped reduce heartburn.

Firstly, tea, coffee and anything else with caffeine in it fuels heartburn. Caffeine relaxes the LES (lower esophagus sphincter) which allows the contents of the stomach to come up through the esophagus (a reflux). If you’re a coffee or tea drinker try decaffeinated!

This one isn’t a problem for me, but chocolate plays a big role in acid reflux (or heartburn). Chocolate contains what’s known as theobromine which is a compound that occurs naturally in cocoa, tea and coffee plants. Again, this relaxes the LES thus allowing stomach acid to reflux through the esophagus. I’m not a chocolate fan anyway, but consider either eating less or cutting it out completely if you are a chronic sufferer.

Probably an obvious one, but if you eat a lot of fatty or fried foods you are not helping the situation. Fried and fatty foods take longer to digest which means stomach acid builds up and leads to a reflux.
Tomato based products also contain properties that relax the LES leading to heartburn. I always used to get heartburn after eating tomato ketchup.

Now this is a big one. Alcohol. Alcohol increases the production of stomach acid and relaxes the LES at the same time! This isn’t a combination and will most certainly lead to an acid reflux.

If you are a smoker you aren’t going to like the next heartburn cause. Tobacco contains chemicals that relax the LES as they pass from the lungs into the blood. I don’t smoke this doesn’t apply to me but I thought I’d mention it anyway.

Another cause of heartburn is eating large meals. When you are full up your stomach can put extra pressure on the lower esophagus sphincter (LES) and some of this extra content can come up into the esophagus causing heartburn.

Because citrus fruits and juices are acidic, they can relax the LES allowing the stomach acid to come up into the esophagus. Consider cutting acidic fruits and juices out of your diet comepetely. I used to enjoy a glass of pure orange juice every morning – not anymore.

The final cause of heartburn I found was wearing clothes that were too tight for me. Again, tightly fitting clothes can put pressure on the abdomen which can squeeze stomach acid through the LES leading to an acid reflux. Typical items of clothing may include belts, tight trousers or slender under-garments.

Heartburn is a very uncomfortable experience so give a few, if not all, of these a try. I hope this has given you a good foundation of the causes of heartburn. I’m sure there are more, but these arw just some of things I’ve tried in the past.

Cures For Heartburn – Natural Methods

February 6th, 2010

Heartburn can be very annoying. It can really get in the way of things and can often spoil a good day out with friends or family. Most people often ignore the symptoms of heartburn in the hope that it will go away. This is simply not the case and more often than not, I’ve found that employing some of the following cures for heartburn have provided adequate relief.

Avoid Spicy/Acidic Foods
Acidic and spicy foods promote heartburn. These two items are a big no-no if you want to get rid of heartburn. Try going for a quick walk after any meal. This gets the digestive system working faster and reduces the symptoms.

Drink Your Favourite Milk
This might not always ease the pain, but for me I found it great. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t always work but 9 times out of 10 it does the trick.

Eat Yogurt
I haven’t found a particular yogurt that works best, but I definetly recommend the cooling effect this method can provide.

Flex Your Muscles
A great natural cure for heartburn. Yes, it’s true. Being toned can help tremendously with heartburn. Even taking a small walk every morning can help with the digestive system thus reducing the likeliness of symptoms.

Drink Ginger Tea
Ginger tea is said to have a soothing effect on heartburn. Next time you experience symptoms try drinking a cup of ginger tea. You’ve got nothing to lose and it’s very healthy for you!

These methods might not be for you but think about it for a second. Natural cures are much better for you than taking long term medication from your GP. But on the same note, leaving heartburn go without trying to cure it can lead to heart problems later on so try and nip it in the bud now, whilst you can.

So, next time you think heartburn is on its way remember these natural cures. They’ve certainly helped me out in the past.
